Arizona has a Stupid Motorist Law. Drivers that drive into flooded washes can be charged for their rescue and fined.

This lady drove into a flooded wash and almost lost her life as well as her little girl. A guy just happened to come along and was able to rescue them.

So she is invited on the Ellen show along with the guy that rescued them. The guy gets a cruise on Ellen. But the lady gets a Brand New Vehicle for being a stupid motorist, and an SUV at that. maybe she'll think she has a better chance next time in an SUV. Glad she and her daughter were okay, but unbelievable she is rewarded for being very stupid.
