Charles Barkley: Republicans/Conservatives = Fake Christians
I'm not a big fan of Charles but I can sure appreciate what he says here about "fake christians". That is the goal of the conservative movement, to legislate morality. Which I am firmly against. That is why so many don't like the evangelical right wing movement.

It's a sad but often very true thing about many who claim to be conservative and Christian -just as Mr. Barkley said. How many of these people who claim to be pro-life are also often the ones leading the pack for the death penalty too? A bit of incongruity there -no problems ending a life then, ya know. No amount of legislation is ever going to rout crime out totally, but better social systems, less poverty here and world-wide, would help to abate that issue, wouldn't it?
