Keith,

Thanks for posting this.....I pray more folks 50 and under get turned onto this guy's music......I listen to his early stuff sometimes still and I love it....he was a great guitarists, a great song writer, and living proof that God reaches out and grabs the unlikely/unpolished folks and makes something beautiful with their lives....complete in perfection in this life....well, no, but beautiful nonetheless....

I actually cried a little when I heard the news on the radio. He's been sick for so long but I hoped he would keep on tickin'. But, he's always said "What a mess the world is in, I wonder who began it? Don't ask me, I'm only visiting this planet. . . " So true. That Song for a Small Circle of Friends is great. I used his "Hymn to the Last Generation" as my Senior quote in the SM West Yearbook 1981:

Come to Reason
Face the Day
Now's the Season
Old things pass away.

Stand beside us
Take His hand
He will guide us
In another land. . .

you can go to www.larrynorman.com and buy cds and stuff if anyone's wanting to get stuff. His old stuff is awesome, but he kept vital and vibrant and was making great music to the end.

There was a write up on him in the USA Today this morning, glad he got some press.
